EDIT: BTW I joined that site and your group. :P I love it!
awesome!
i use deviantart.com for stuff like that.. you can look at other's work and get ideas or post your own.. you can even sell it on there.
i saw that walmart is looking for someone to do photography for them and they get you certified and teach you stuff and everything.. if i weren't needed at home i would totally take that or at least try to!.
what an awesome hobby/job.. good luck!.

I would have a hard time working for walmart because it would be very rushed and just get the client in and out. Plus I love to edit my images if you can't tell! I have realized they only places to take 'classes' around here are Harold's or a college which I opted for. I also worked for Harold's and took their classes and got negative feedback about how they are taught. I think people should know how to take great photos of those everyday moments not just that one day when they get all dressed up (and are not in a good mood) :)

Hi, I have always loved taking pics of my kids! The last couple of months I have been getting alot of info on photography. Cafemom.com has some really neat photography groups I've learned alot from them. But I want to know about taking some classes. Anyone out there that is getting into photography or is a pro maybe you can give me some advice where to start? I have met some moms on cafemom.com that didn't even go to school for this and they have thier own business in it. If you are a member or do become a member go on my page and in my journals look at my pics and tell me what you think? www.cafemom.com then search for people at the top and my screen name is ckaubisch and that will take you to my page.
