Did it have a collar? Name tag? Not to give you hope but I actually had Animal Control call me two nights ago because they found a Husky with a name tag on it but it had their old number on it, my current number. The lady actually called me from her cell phone letting me know she had found this dog. I feel so bad for the family that lost the dog. I was hoping they would their old number and say hey we lost our dog it has your number on her tags.
Both my cat and dog have collars with their name and number on it. I learned the hard way after dog ran off while a friend was watching him and he spent the weekend in someone else's garage. The guy was wonderful for taking him in though.
Call animal control and Second Chance since thats where all lost / strays that are picked up are taken. Also call the Humane Society because people drop animals they have found off there.
I am so sorry I feel so bad for any lost animal and their owners. I hope you find him.

Ok I know this seems silly but our cat appeared to have ran away last night, my husband has had this cat for 15 years and is just torn, so if anyone sees a cat please let me know. He is pretty small for an adult cat he is mostly grey with some black, his name is Tigger, we live southwest of 57th and Marion so would most likely see in that neighborhood, thanks!
