with my first pregnancy I didnt find out until I was almost 4 months along. I have endometriosis and do not have regular periods. I was at the doctor for a regular visit and he came in and said... guess what .... your pregnant. So yes it is possible. A friend of mine had her period tthrough her entire pregnancy. I lost 10 pounds with my first baby, gained 8 with my second and gained 12 with my third. I never had the beautiful round baby belly but I always wanted one.

This is entirely possible and happens more than most know...my sister was 5 months preggo before she knew it, she has always skipped 3-4 cycles at a time so missing them was nothing for her. I also had a friend I worked with that didn't come to work for several days one week, come to find out she had a baby in the ER and didn't even know she was pregnant! I swear to you this girl wore a size 0-2 the day before she had this baby. Yep, it is entirely possible.

My cousin had this same thing happen. She went to work one day, didn't feel well, and went to the ER. She delivered a baby an hour later! She swears that she had her period the entire pregnancy and had no idea she was pregnant (and she had two other kids!) Let's just say her husband was pretty surprised when he got that call at work . . . "Uh, honey, you're not going to believe this, but I just gave birth!"
Strange!
This is hard for me to wrap my mind around. Size 0-2 and was preg. and didn't know it? Did she not have a belly. Where was the baby hiding? I can understand not having symptoms and all that, what totally boggles my mind, is the size of the baby??? How can you tell when your a size 0-2 that you have a funny looking shape that wasn't there before. I don't doubt you, I'm just trying to figure this out.
Yes... It is possible. I was on the pill so I was getting a period every month, some were not very heavy, but I got one. I found out at the end of August and was due in January. It was actually my 3rd, so i was sure I should have known... but nope!
someone was just telling me today that their cousin just found out she is 7 months along! I was floored. but i guess she has medical problems and had been told she would never have kids. when she went in for not feeling well, she was told she had some kind of gastro thing happening. come to find out 7 months later that she is in fact pregnant!
i am sure it can happen, i just wonder about the baby's movements. those are hard to miss i would think?

A friend of mine was pg and did not know it until she went to the ER one night and delievered she had her cycle every month and only gained a few pounds the whole 9 months and she was never sick and she was on the pill also. She had a healthy baby girl.
I read a story about this in a parenting magazine. Apparently the woman had a tilted uterus, so the movements were not what a normal uterus woman would feel. Crazy. I was a WHALE when I was pregnant, so everyone in a mile radius knew I was preggo.
Ditto on the WHALE thing, girl. I got to the point where I thought I might have to paste one of those "Slow Moving Vehicle" orange triangles to my butt!! My husband, a choir director, joked that he was going to have to raid the choir robe closet to find me clothes! NOT funny . . .
This happened to one of my friends also. She had some medical conditions, was on clomid to get pregnant and tested every 2 weeks for 4 1/2 months...ALL NEGATIVE...she ended up going in to see her Dr. to get her period to start so they could start new treatments for becoming pregnant...needless to say, they didn't need the treatment because she was 5 months along. She was a large lady to begin with, so I assume that's why she didn't "look" pregnant. I envy those women that don't even know they are pregnant until it's more then half way over!!!
I was thinking that last night too cause I am 37 wks now. "Man, sure would have been nice to just find out now that I'm pregnant with only a few weeks to go!"

One of my friends called me tonight to tell me she was expecting. When I asked her how far along she was and when she was due, she said she was between four and five months. She said that they didn't find out until recently. Because she continued to receive regular periods and had been feeling well, she didn't know that she was pregnant. She was in the doctors office for a sore throat and mentioned her recent weight gain. The doctor determined she was pregnant. First, is this possible to not know you're pregnant for four or five months? Have any of you had this and if so, when and how did you find out if you didn't have any symptoms? Maybe I find this so intriguing because I felt miserable the first several months of pregnancy.
