Ok we have to do something fun! Like do a couples weekend with no kids and take TONS of pictures! I too was thinking the same thing (we are the same person I swear) the other day, I dont have any fun "look at what we did this summer" pics either! Start planning!

Thanks for the bumper sticker on facebook! haha. I take way too many pictures. The only time i'm able to do fun things and go out is when we go back home to MN because my boyfriend's parents always want to take care of our daughter, so that's our "free time".

I totally know what you're saying! I am 30 today!!!!!!!!! Now I reallllllllly feel old!! But, yeah I look at friends of mine from school and they have tons of fun pictures, bar pictures, etc.. but I guess I cant feel too bad because I did all that when I was younger. But still, ,I feel like I'm missing out on stuff sometimes! The only pictures I have nowadays are of my son! But thats fine with me haha. I just need to take more pictures, maybe I'll put on tons of make up, do my hair and take funny pics of myself and people will think I'm doing some super fun! hahah

I know how you feel! I am only 26 so most of my friends have pages full of those kinds of pics...my Facebook is full of my kids...I like to tell myself that when I am in my 30's and 40's and my kids are older, then my husband and I can travel and do what we're "missing" now, while our friends kids are still in elementary school. (Big dreams, I know!)
You know what I have decided. I'm waiting till I'm 50. I have a very full career right now. Do you know how hard it is to have someone watch 5 kids for a few hours, much less a weekend? When I am 50, my youngest will be 19. So I'm thinkin, she can call me and ask,"Hey mom whatcha doin?" And I can honestly reply, "Oh, I'm at disney land honey." (or on a cruise, rock climbing, in Ireland..all of the above..) Anyho, all those friends who have waited till later to have kids might still be changing diapers then. He who laughs last....
I love it. I have an aunt right now who is saying the same thing. They had eight kids, and the youngest just graduated from high school. She is DETERMINED to sell their house, buy an RV and travel the country. She's even refusing to get a cell phone because she says "Then my kids will just be calling me all the time, trying to 'make sure I'm okay', when they probably just want money!" Ha!
I don't think they're really going to sell their house and take to the road, but I know she plans on travelling a lot and livin' it up now that her kids are grown. My parents did the same thing. Those two are in their seventies now, and they've been like a couple of little love bird/party animals ever since my little sister graduated and left home!
We should go camping!!! lol, no not really, there's too much crap involved. I've heard Newton Hills is cool to walk. We could take a trip to WellsBlue Bunny. Let's go to the Corn Palace! lol, ok, I'm outta quick ideas...yes, some may have been there already, but have the kids?

Corn Palace!! That's where we were going to honeymoon! It was my dad's idea. He said he'd pay for it!!! LOL! We should meet there. It's only 45 min from me and I had too much fun last weekend to wait until the bus party!!!

Sioux Falls is exit 400 on I 90 and Mitchell is 333. So it's 67 miles from Mitchell. Any time works for us.

I try to remember when I'm looking at facebook that those albums are only full of the pictures people choose to put up, so they are naturally going to choose pics that make their lives look full and interesting.
I figure everybody still has those crappy days of cleaning toilets and doing laundry just like I do . . .

I just recently got into Facebook and it's fun to look up old boyfriends, etc. Anyway, I just added the OWNED application where people can buy and sell your picture. I am having WAAAAAAAAAy too much fun with that!

So I'm looking at my friends' new pics on Facebook and they're filled with fun times on the river, at concerts, at parties, etc and am thinking, "Where did my summer go?" I want pics of fun things on my page. I want to take advantage of the sun and DO things. I want to fly by the seat of my pants!! For you moms who are still cool and fun, how do you juggle this? I'm completely jealous.
