Candlelight Acres will be having our annual neighborhood rummage sales. It will be Friday, April 18th & Saturday, April 19th. There will be some open on Thursday as well. This area is in the far southwest part of Sioux Falls. The streets bordering the area are Sundowner Ave on the east, 57th. St. on the north, Galway Ave. on the west and 69th St. on the south. There is an average of 30-40 sales each year! This is a big one come out and shop!

after April 21. This is the same weekend as kingswood I believe so I've heard some people go to kingswood on Friday and come to Luverne on Saturday (30 miles east on I90)

Beresford's city-wide rummage is the first weekend in May and I believe that Leaders (East SF) is this weekend. But I am not 100% sure on Leaders.
The city of Rock Rapids, Iowa will be holding their city-wide rummage sales on the weekend of May 2-3. For people who like to take a drive out of town, this isn't a bad drive from Sioux Falls--less than 45 minutes!
The city of Crooks (about 10 miles North West of Sioux Falls) has their city wide rummages on May 30th and 31st.

I really enjoy these rummages as they seem MUCH cheaper than the bigger city ones, but still offer a lot of listings. It does pay off to go on Friday night or earlier Saturday morning as things do seem to go quickly and this is the first year that they are advertised to be open on Friday (usually some just did on thier own). I know that the Kingwood ones are also this week, but by the weekend it seems they have really been picked over in the past.

I posted earlier about the rummages in Luverne this weekend, which had really poor wheatere obviously! For all those who have not yet got your fill, Rock Rapids Iowa is having thiers this Friday and Saturday. Lester (a small town along the way on Hwy 9) also has several at the same time and are worth checking out as well.
