I don't know if it works or not but with my second I know the exact day that I concieved because there was only one time that month becasue of a knee injury. We were together that night. I ovulated the next morning and we had a boy. So that is some evidence to the positive anyway. I do know some parents who used the method while I was working in the daycare to get a girl. Two different parents and both had girls. But it also depends on your ph levels and such.

They say the best way is to time your ovulation. the closer to ovulating you are the better chances you will have a boy and visaversa. The second most inportant is sexual position. the deeper penitration the better chace you will have a boy.

You can look it up on the internet under shettles method or I bought the book at barns and nobles. The book title is How to Choose the Sex of Your Baby.
