25 years??!!? I am not that old, am I?
I had a Cabbage Patch Kid, I can't for the life of me remember her name. I won her at a raffle drawing at the YWCA Christmas carnival. I had bought 6 raffle tickets and some other girl bought a ton - I won! I don't remember how old I was, by it was when they first came out and people were literally killing each other to get to them in the stores. The other girl that had bought so many tickets was very upset.
I don't remember much about the doll, she had yellow pig tails and we had matching nightgowns...
The Cake goddess - Cakes for all occasions, desserts and cookies, too!
We got them for xmas the yr they came out. I remember our mom saying there was a HUGE fight for them, my mom had 3 in her cart, one for each of my sisters and I and she just about got hit when she told someone "get your hands off of those, there in my cart for me to buy"!
Yeah, the fights people would get into....kind of like Tickle Me Elmo!!!
I had several cabbage patch dolls and can't remember any of their names! I loved them! I have a couple of the "premies" and some others. I will have to check them out when I go to my parents house again! I can't believe they are 25! yikes:)
**well behaved women rarely make history**
I had a couple and can't remember for the life of me what their names were my favorite I lost at my dads softball game, another one my sister just recently said it was hers( it was at my mom and dads still) but it was mine so her kids have my doll to play with:( oh well I just can't believe I don't have one left for my kids. My parents granddaughters all get one for their first xmas and the doll either has the same bday as them or the same name. My daughter got one this year her name is Abigail( spelt just like my daughters) can't remember her middle name, I am keeping that one in the box and she'll get a new one for her bday this year she can play with.
Oh my goodness I had a ton of Cabbage kids and still have them in a box for my daughter to have some day!
My first was Mahalla Lillian. She had dark hair and glasses - Just like me!!
Go Flyers!!!
I've got my sister's originals, and my daughter has about 6 of her own...we try to buy ones that have a b-day that is in the fam. We've got 2 with our daughters b-day and 1 with our sons and 1 with mine. We still are looking for my hubbys! LoL. Oh well! They are very fun, and I'm pretty sure the clothes they have are SUPER cute! I absolutely love the clothes...not slutty or hoe-ish like barbie! ;)

I had a few Cabbage Patch Dolls growing up...The one who's name I remember was Bianca...she was blonde and had green eyes. I think I still have her around somewhere...One of my coworkers bought Kyli a Cabbage Patch Doll when she was born...she looked all over for one that looked like me and my sister...so Kyli's has Blonde hair with highlights and blue eyes...Her name is Riley...I am looking everywhere for one with Kyli's bday--if anyone ever finds a November 23 let me know!
I had a small bald baby cabbage patch doll with green/white shorts overalls. I named him Philip. The wierd thing about this: I married a Philip, my father-in-law is a Philip, and now my oldest son is a Philip. Who would've guessed it?

I had two girls, one with blonde pig tails and one with light brown pig tails, I cannot for the life of me remember their names though. I also inherited my little brothers. His was a bald headed boy named Malcolm. My mom stil has them, every once in a while when I go to her house I smell them and they still have them baby powder like smell. I remember a few years ago when they tried to make a comeback with new ones, they freaked me out a bit, their hair was like Barbies hair. I prefer the original!

I just read that Cabbage Patch Kids have been around for 25 years! Wow. My little Harmony Arabella has hardly aged a bit.
I got Harmony when I was in second grade. She has red pig tails and is currently wearing a cheerleading outfit. She still lives with my parents, hanging out in my old bedroom (which no longer has a bed and is now Josh’s toy room).
Harmony was actually supposed to belong to my sister. We both were getting Cabbage Patch Kids for Christmas one year, and we were dying to know what ours looked like. So we peeked, then both decided we liked the other’s better. So we swapped the tags!
Did you have a Cabbage Patch Kid? Do your kids? And what was your named?
