BTW...if you're looking for a great family dog that is wonderful with children, Boxers are so good! We have one that we purchased when our oldest was 1yo. They kind of grew up together and Charlie (the dog) is great with both of our children. He lets them get away with anything!

Oh goodness! I better stay away, lol. We love our boxer and I would get another in a heart beat, if we didn't also have a golden retriever and I think 3 dogs and 2 kids would send hubby over the edge, lol.
My Boxer is actually better with my boys than my retriever. He plays with them and interacts with them. He also watches out for them outside and follows them everywhere. He is very over protective of them, whereas my retriever is somewhat indifferent. So, if you are looking for an AWESOME family dog, boxers fit the bill perfectly!
Don't forget to come out to Petco Saturday and meet all of the adorable boxers we have for adoption.
I hope every boxer you bring to the meet and greet gets a fantastic new family to love him or her. Great dogs, my grandparents had one when we were growing up. Loved that dog!

Just want to let everyone know we are having a SD Boxer Rescue meet and greet at Petco on May 17th from 1-4pm. Come out and meet our boxers that are available for adoption and learn about the breed. We'd love to see everyone there.
