I am throwing a baby shower for my sister who is pregnant with twins and am looking for some good shower ideas/games for it. If you have any ideas, I am all ears! Thanks so much!

We did baby shower Pictionary. We divided the group into 2 & used a little dry erase board that we could pass to one another. There was a basket with the clues on little pieces of paper & you drew your clue out of the basket & then you had to draw & your team had to guess what it was. You had a time limit & the team who got the most right won. We did clues such as misc. baby items and nursery rhymes. some of them were hard!
Cute decorating ideas:
*Buy a cheap set of blocks & spell out a few words & put them in random places around the room you're having it in (fireplace mantle, etc.).
*Use empty clean 3rd foods (I always get the fuits or dessert) jars as little bud vases & put flowers in them around the room or on a dining room table where you'll eat, etc. (my favorite)
*My sisters in law when they had my shower for me made a cute little clothes line & hung it up on the wall for decor. They had probably an 8 foot line or so & they hung up 3 onesies on it with clothes pins & also a couple pairs of socks. It was so cute.

Have fun!

I went to a shower and they had a clothes line up behind the mom to be. When she would get clothes they would hang them on the clothes line instead of passing them around. It was so cute.

My sister in law planned my baby shower and she did 2 really neat games.. One was the baby food game.. Just get like easy ones like applesauce, carrots, sweet potato, nothin elaberate like chicken with rice or anything!! but you rip the lables off and the guests taste the baby food and guess what kind it is! game two was a memory game, she put together a diaper bag full or items like receiving blankes, bottles, pacifiers, diapers, wipes, butt cream (things you would have in a diaper bag).. guests took time to study the bag and contents, she then hid the bag and asked questions about the bag and items (best part was i got to keep the bag and contents)... Game 3 was the "poop" game.. Melted chocolate candy bars inside diapers!!! So funny.. Then guests would guess what candy bar it was!! It is really funny to see everyone sniffing diapers!!! i have also heard about the toilet paper game where guests guess how many squares it takes to go around the belly.. this would be fun with a preggo belly with TWINS in it!!! Good luck.. baby showers are fun!! Have fun with it!!

I went to a friends baby shower and they had a list of baby products you had to tell what they were. Kind of funny what some of the "grandmas" in the group had put down! They also did a cool cross word puzzle. Like the name of hosp. they will deliver, fav. food craving, month baby is born, parents bday months, kind of general knowledge that everyone knows. It was alot of fun. Instead of diapers, they passed around baby food jars and had taken the labels off, you had to figure it out by looking, harder than you would think!
Have fun!

You can do the always enjoyed, whats in the diaper game! Get different kind of candy bars and melt each one in a different numbered diapers, and then have the guests pass them around and try to figure out what is what in the diaper. NO tasting allowed! You can always get good laughs out of everyone! Just make sure to keep a list of which candy bars are in what number diaper!

We did the typical measure the mommy with yarn game

had note cards for them to put pointers on...each one had a sticker...but one was a special sticker and they won a gift then.

but my favorite was where they passed the box around after being told they had to wear whatever was inside - that made them all cringe and want to pass the box quicker...but MIL had made a special corsage for the winner...while I played kids music...
Pass The Box
(Can be used for any type of shower) This is really fun, Take a small gift, like a pretty candle and place it in a box, then gift wrap it, but keep wrapping it with different layers of giftwrap. Play some music while passing the present around, when the music stops, the guest left holding it unwraps the first layer of wrapping paper, then the music starts again and the box is passed, then everytime the music stops, another layer is removed until someone finally unwraps the very last layer,,,,, and that is the winner.

Here is a site with some good ideas too - just search online since there are sooo many

Hey there! I'm actually throwning a baby shower on Sat for my sister who had twins in Jan. Hers is actually more a "meet and greet" for the twins. We are still playing games. I'm going to play "The Price is Right"...where you take about 10 items and get the prices and then hold them up and have the guests "bid" on the prize. Then the momey gets to keep the prizes and then the one who bids closest to the most items gets a prize! Then we are playing the diaper bag game, but twins style...double everything! In my version we are not letting the guests look in the bag, they just have to guess what you would put in the diaper bag. Whoever gets the most right gets a prize. Then depending on how many people are there and how much time we have we are going to play the shape sorter game...where you race to finish a shape sorter! For my sister tho, we are asking that if the guest feels the need to bring a gift, we ask that they bring a gift card or diapers, seein that they already have 2 older kids.

Maybe I'm a party pooper, but I'm not a huge fan of games at showers. I'd rather have good food and good conversation than play the dirty diaper game! At the showers I've hosted, the guests and the moms-to-be have all been relieved to have been spared of the silly games.
